The new Nokia E66 has just been announced officially to be released in July 2008. The E66 is features packed with a 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, a front-facing camera for video calls, WiFi, A-GPS, 3.6mbps web browsing speed in its fastest HSDPA band, and it also can be used in the following bands: GSM, EDGE, WCDMA and HSDPA. It has a large 2.4-inch QVGA screen. It has a 13.6mm thickness, and new styling. There's only 110MB of internal memory, but you can supplement that with a 8GB microSD card. The E66 comes with a slide design and the usual numerical keypad.
It also has the same feature as the Nokia E71, that where at the push of a button, one can switch from business—where the screen is filled with notes on the next appointment or task—to personal home screen mode, a wallpaper of perhaps a favorite photo along with shortcuts to the music player and Internet Web browser.
The E66 also is pre-loaded with a program called Mail for Exchange, which is particularly for mobile e-mail clients who use Microsoft Exchange. It also support e-mail accounts with several Internet service providers, including Gmail (Google mail), Yahoo! mail and Hotmail [Microsoft]. It is geared towards business professionals and comes in grey and white stainless steel color and material.
