

At the push of a button, one can switch from business mode, where the screen is filled with notes on the next appointment or task, to personal home screen mode, a wallpaper of perhaps a favorite photo along with shortcuts to the music player and Internet Web browser.

The E71 do not include though a Blackberry service, included on all of Nokia's previous corporate phones. But is not seen as a major problem for Nokia, which has always offered a wide range of e-mails on its devices.
The Nokia E71 is a descendant of the trend setting "Communicator," now a decade old. It has a full QWERTY keyboard squeezed on to a conventional phone shape and Internet connect speeds which is up to as fast as 3.6 MBPS. The E71 is an improved version of its predecessor, the E61i and is as slim as a ball pen at 57 mm, is twice as fast as the previous version, with a standby battery life that can last up to 20 days.
The E71 comes in grey and white stainless steel, a material that gives it additional strength and a touch of class. It will be publicly available on July 2008.
